Redditch-based company Centaur Manufacturing, the UK’s leading developer and provider of electrical cable manufacturing systems, has launched a new range of uPVC products with Biomaster technology.
Manufacturing in Britain for more than 40 years, Centaur supplies the uPVC cable management market with everything from conduits and boxes to three compartment trunking, power poles and posts and has developed a comprehensive range of products to satisfy the commercial and specification markets.
Centaur supplies systems to health authorities, universities and blue chip companies such as Rolls Royce, GlaxoSmithKline and Holiday Inn.
The company’s new range of antimicrobial products is perfect for deployment areas which have an inherent risk of infection or the standards require greater protection, for example operating theatres.
The 24/7 antimicrobial protection is built into the plastic, inhibiting the growth of bacteria on surfaces in compliance with ISO 22196 for the lifetime of the product.
Centaur Cable Management Group Sales Manager Dan Gillbanks explains: “The need to reduce bacterial levels on products within risk areas has never been higher with costs to medical and health trusts proving to be a serious concern.
Centaur has recognised this and working in conjunction with Biomaster we have been able to develop a market leading product range with our bespoke offering also helping us to meet all special customer requirements”
