The Hampstead Garden Suburb is situated in the London Borough of Barnet which is in the northwest of the city. It is a superb example of the planning authorities adopting a sensible approach to the replacement of wooden sash windows, casements and doors. This entails quality timber windows and doors, double glazed, which replicate the appropriate period sightlines being used and thus increasing the thermal and acoustic insulation. This encourages the homeowners to work with the authority, improving the housing stock while ensuring the character of the area is maintained and improved.

Lomax + Wood provide made-to-order timber windows and doors, supplied and installed to ensure the customer has only one point of contact. The products are independently tested, with CAD drawings provided for approval prior to manufacture.

The products are security tested meeting PAS 24 and further security features such as concealed alarm contact can be included with compromising the overall traditional heritage style off wooden windows.
