The new VMZINC website, www.vmzinc.co.uk contains a wealth of new information on zinc roofing, façade and rainwater systems. It includes greater detail than ever before on handmade zinc ornaments, including those of standard and bespoke design for heritage and contemporary buildings. In addition, systems such as the VMZ Composite, a multilayered panel made up of two sheets of zinc 0.5 mm thick and thermo-glued on either side of a mineral-rich polyethylene core, provides a façade of rigidity, smoothness and exceptional fire resistance. Design assistance include detail downloads, information on training and a CPD presentation while, for the first time, a page is devoted to the critical subject of roofing underlay. For interior designers, VMZINC Opus is a new eco-designed system in a variety of formats and colours that can be used to create subtle and highly distinctive interiors. Literature downloads are also available of new standing seam roofing, rainwater and facades brochures while new photography of projects throughout the UK and the rest of the world is available to view.
