Representatives from the leading manufacturer of plumbing, rainwater and drainage systems Wavin have returned from Ecobuild 2015 having showcased a range of products and sponsored a series of water management and efficiency seminars at the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment.
Held at London’s ExCeL exhibition and conference centre from the 3rd – 5th March, the three day event attracted more than 1,300 exhibitors and 600 speakers. The event provided the perfect opportunity for Wavin to demonstrate a range of industry-leading products which are synonymous with superior technology, product quality and customer satisfaction.
Hosting eleven seminars across three days, the Wavin sponsored Water Theatre, constructed from AquaCell modular stormwater management units, also brought together industry thought-leaders to provoke conversation and debate about key topics. The well attended seminar programme covered a range of subjects from ‘Retrofitting SUDS: The Next Big Thing’ to ‘Water-efficient buildings and landscapes: How do we do it” and included speakers from ARUP, Waterwise and Environment Agency to name but a few.
“We were delighted to sponsor the water seminar theatre at Ecobuild 2015 and there was a fantastic line up of speakers ensuring a high level of debate,” commented Mike Shaw, Head of Marketing at Wavin. “As experts with water, alignment of the brand with this key Ecobuild topic provided us with the ideal platform with which to engage, debate and influence with key professionals within the sector.”
At the impressive Wavin exhibition stand, team members were able to demonstrate some of the company’s industry leading plumbing, rainwater and drainage products to customers including the Hep2O range of push fit plumbing and underfloor heating systems, the Wavin Acoustic Soil System, Stormwater Management including attenuation and re-use systems and the latest innovations including QuickStream Siphonic Roof Drainage, one of a number of intelligent solutions from Wavin which provide the answer to managing excessive rainfall.
“Our stand at Ecobuild was a great success with visitors overwhelming positive,” added Mike Shaw. “There was a high level of interaction with our sales and technical team which gave us the perfect opportunity to discover new customers, suppliers and contacts.”
