About the speakers

Dr. Callum Hill FIWSc, Senior Lecturer in Renewable Materials

Callum is a global thought leader on wood modification. He is a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Bath and a Visiting Researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research and is also developing his consultancy (JCH Industrial Ecology). He has authored over 180 research papers and two textbooks.

Daniel Gudsell, Founder - Abodo Wood

Daniel is a founding Director of New Zealand-based Abodo Wood. Formed in 2001, Abodo has been the leading proponent of wood modification technology in the Southern Hemisphere. As a member of the International Research Group of Wood Preservation, Daniel is connected with the world’s greatest minds in wood technology.
