This herringbone parquet was developed and made for a commercial client. The boards are fumed and then treated with a coloured oil and finished with a UV cured top coat of oil, we apply 3 layers after the base coat so the parquet is fully sealed and ready for use immediately after fitting. The cleaning regime is very simple using our soap oils. There will be grain and colour variation but a good fitter can easily blend in the pieces.
