The New innovative loose-lay flooring system

Free-floor is an innovative system comprising slim-line modular tiles manufactured from porcelain, granite or marble, available in a variety of sizes which are calibrated and rectified to exacting tolerances. Each tile is edge-banded in plastic and has a dense rubberised backing applied to the underside to enable a firm gravity lay installation.

When installed, each tile is fully interchangeable within the system.

Ideally suited as an “over-lay” solution for existing floors with tired or old fashioned finishes, freefloor is also ideally suited for use with raised access flooring systems, allowing for ease of access directly into the floor void / cavity. With no adhesive or grouts employed in the installation process freefloor can be installed quickly and simply, and removed and relocated whenever desired.

Benefits at a glance:

  • Suitable for use in commercial, industrial, residential and retail applications
  • Fast installation requiring no adhesives, grouts or sealants
  • No curing times/ready to accept foot traffic within minutes of installation
  • High load-bearing capacity
  • Almost infinite choice of colours and textures available

The Free-Floor system benefits from low installation costs due to the simplicity of design and construction, which negates the need for expensive adhesives and grouts and waiting for drying / curing times to complete.

Easy to keep clean, freefloor can be supplied with the latest innovative self-cleaning and environmentally friendly surface coatings factory applied.

Free-Floor is the perfect overlay solution suitable for all applications, quick and easy to install, providing visual strong impact and performance.

Firm and secure once installed, the freefloor system provides the feel and functionality of a fully bonded porcelain or granite floor system with the benefits of lowcost installation and the ability to remove and relocate when and where necessary.

freefloor offers the end user the freedom to change and/or reconfigure the floor design and aesthetic in an instant. Each tile is flat, square and fully interchangeable with the next. This innovative breakthrough in hard floor coverings provides huge flexibility for temporary or rented buildings where the need to change and reconfigure its use is commonplace.

Widely specified for use as an overlay on raised access flooring systems, Free-Floor provides the freedom to retain full and easy access to the service void; all this with a porcelain or granite finished surface, indistinguishable from a bonded floor tile.

The ability to quickly remove and relocate the flooring system whilst returning the existing floor surface to its original state is a valuable feature of the freefloor system, and one which has been widely used within historical buildings and museums throughout Europe.
