Thanks to the explosive results it generates, we've call this product 'Lava'. It's also called 'Lava' because the key material used to make it is pozzolana, a volcanic ash, which we've mixed with naturally coloured rocks. Not your run-of-the-mill product, this totally contemporary mortar can be used to cover walls and floors both indoors and out. Exceptionally easy to work, pliable and with great adhesion to existing or new surfaces, it is ideal for renovations. One key benefit is that it can be applied in a 3-4 mm layer straight onto the existing surface without removing what lies beneath. So why not use shades inspired by nature such as sky blue, ice grey, and timber brown as inspiration for innovative decor schemes. 'Lava polished mortar' is an ideal choice for floors with a lot of footfall such as shops, offices, gyms, restaurants and café-bars, though it works equally well in homes, hotels, bathrooms and spas.
