Frosted Window Films
Frosted window films are available in a variety of finishes providing privacy whilst also allowing light penetration.
Etched Window Film
Etched window films provide glazing with the appearance of frosted glass or an acid-etched finish, creating an attractive, contemporary appearance without the need for replacement glass, whilst also allowing varying levels of privacy. Etched films are particularly durable and suitable for commercial applications where privacy is a requirement, whilst also maintaining natural light levels. Etched films are also commonly used for glass manifestations where glazing needs to be made visible for health and safety purposes. Manifestations can take the form of lines, dots, waves, logos and signage as well as bespoke designs.
Reflective window film, mirrored film and one-way vision films.
Silver reflective window film, also known as one-way mirror films provide privacy during daylight hours. Silver reflective window film and one-way mirror films are widely used in applications for commercial buildings where daytime privacy and solar control is a requirement. Reflective and mirrored films do not provide privacy at nighttime when artificial lighting is used within a building. There are different grades of reflective and mirrored films available.
Vision Control Film (Wincos formerly know at Lumisty)
View control films are designed to control what can be seen and not seen and are particularly suitable for applications where a particular area needs to be blocked out or hidden from sight but visibility is still required. The appearance of glass when applied with view control film changes from translucent to transparent and vice versa according to the viewing angle. A selection of options are available providing privacy or visibility in a vertical or horizontal direction.
Typical applications: where there is a need to block unsightly views, where privacy is required from certain viewing angles, to eliminate the ‘fishbowl’ atmosphere of a glass conference room or workspace, to draw attention to product or features in a display or retail space.
Casper Cloaking Film
Casper™ Cloaking film is an innovative new window film for glass that obscures digital screens to outside view.
