Vulcan VG Cladding

Abodo Wood

Abodo Vulcan VG Cladding is our premium cladding timber. Created from Abodo’s thermally modified New Zealand plantation timber for superior beauty, durability and weathering characteristics. Vulcan VG Cladding features a vertical grain for superior stability and weathering characteristics. The increased stability of the vertical grain orientation means wider boards of 180mm are possible.

Vulcan VG Cladding is a very stable, low movement product which means it is ideally suited for coating in darker colours, and is a renewable alternative to Western Red Cedar timber cladding.

Various modern profiles are available, including vertical ship lap, random width boards and custom profiles. We also offer a range of surface finishes -fine band sawn, riven and ribbed. For those looking to reduce waste, boards can also be finger jointed to specific size and length, anything up to 12m.

* Colour variation may occur due to variation in the natural substrate. Colour may change/fade as part of the weathering pro
