Bloomsbury Festival

Bloomsbury Festival returns from 17-21 October 2018 with the theme, Activists and Architects of Change.

For five days, Store Street and the Bloomsbury area will be filled with performers, activities and stalls, bringing the local community and visitors together to celebrate the area's richness in art, culture and science.

The Building Centre is open throughout the festival for visitors to enjoy our public exhibitions about the built environment.   

Roll up Store Street!

Head to Store Street on Friday 19 October 6.00pm - 9.00pm for a night-time street party with a twist. Thrilling Circus artists join musicians and performers to celebrate the Bloomsbury Festival. Roll up for street stalls and pop-ups as Store Street opens its doors with free activities for all the family.

Digital Turn, ZHCODE

An exhibition exploring the digital innovations that are changing the way we are going to design and build our cities.© Chris Jackson  Zaha Hadid Computation and Design Research Group (ZHCODE) is the second 'turn' in the Digital Turn exhibition series, showcasing never before seen housing models and advances in computational design.

Factory-Made Housing

An exhibition by New London Architecture looking at the opportunities and challenges that factory-made housing presents to the future of housing in London.

Blood Bricks

A photography exhibition that tells the story of many who experience modern slavery in the kiln industry of Cambodia, and the role climate change plays in driving people there.

NLA's giant interactive model of central London brings the story of London’s historical and physical development to life.

Family Architecture Workshop with NLA, Saturday 20 October, 1.00pm - 4.00pm

Inspiring children to become architects, professional educators will be present to help children design their ideal home and learn the basics of architectural design.
