Friday 15 February, 1.15pm - 1.45pm
Forest of Fabrication is an exhibition in collaboration between the Building Centre and Stirling Prize-winning practice dRMM, presenting engineered timber as a defining material of 21st Century architecture.
Join Raphael Villiermet, dRMM Associate and Forest of Fabrication co-curator, for the first of five guided tours. The conversation will focus around the studio’s use of models as an integral part of the design process, with emphasis on stacked structures and urban intensification strategies. Projects featured will include WorkStack, a new typology for light-industrial workspace and Walliscote Place, a 14-storey residential CLT tower in Weston-super-Mare.
Registration is free but spaces are limited. Please book to avoid disappointment.
The Forest of Fabrication exhibition and events programme is curated by the Building Centre exhibitions team and dRMM, and supported by The Built Environment Trust.
