Wieland launches new website dedicated to structure wiring

22 Apr 2013
News

Wieland has launched a new website dedicated to its Metalynx2 structured wiring system www.wielandmetalynx.co.uk to demonstrate the very tangible benefits of pluggable installations.   The site is presented in a clear, simple to navigate format and provides the user with a master class in structured wiring, from a step-by-step installation guide through to graphics showing typical installation layouts.

The “Download Centre” offers full explanation and technical information that allows the visitor to view typical specifications, relevant standards and support and service.   In addition, the Metalynx2 website has links to the company’s catalogues and e-catalogues, plus Wieland’s gesisPLAN software, which uses CAD building data to generate installation layouts, bills of materials and shopping lists.

Case studies of projects utilising Wieland’s structured wiring systems have been included to demonstrate just how diverse the product is and include examples of the use of the various components and connectors that combine to make up a system. There is also a section devoted to Wieland’s environmental policy and green values.

Wieland’s new Metalynx2 website provides a complete overview of the philosophy of structured wiring and its use, providing benefits that extend way beyond simple product selection. It is a must for anyone involved in the specification for construction projects or the installation of lighting, heating or air conditioning in new or refurbished buildings.
