FILS and ITALFIM (companies of L HOLDING Group, a group created from the historic and renown brand LonghiGroup) are leading European manufacturers of expanded metal mesh for the Architecture and Engineering community. Our activity started 60 years ago with a limited number of machines in the heart of one of the most innovative and industrialised areas of Europe (Lombardy, specifically in Bergamo, near Milan). Today the production sites are state-of-the-art and among the largest in Europe (and probably the world) for production capacity and flexibility. All machinery is own designed and patented.
FILS Architectural Line PROTECH includes medium to large size patterns; ITALFIM Architectural Line STILTECH consists of medium to small meshes. Our expanded mesh can be supplied in coils, cut to shape sheets, framed panels, formed shapes (like a ceiling tile). New to the family is the ULTRA LIMITES line (extra large patterns up to 400mm pitch!). The finishes available are powder coating, anodising, hot dip galvanising. Our mesh can be supplied in Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel and Special Materials such as Nickel, Titanium, Titanium Zinc, Brass, Cor-Ten, in different thicknesses.
