Friday 5 April, 1.15pm - 1.45pm
Forest of Fabrication is an exhibition in collaboration between the Building Centre and Stirling Prize-winning practice dRMM, presenting engineered timber as a defining material of 21st Century architecture.
Join dRMM Director Jonas Lencer for the fifth in our series of guided tours. Conversation will focus around Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), looking at a range of possibilities from off-the-shelf to personalised pre-fabrication. Projects featured include Naked House, a low cost, flatpack ‘jigsaw’ timber house prototype, and WorkStack, a stacked cantilevered prototype for light-industrial workspaces.
Registration is free but spaces are limited. Please book to avoid disappointment.
The Forest of Fabrication exhibition and events programme is curated by the Building Centre exhibitions team and dRMM, and supported by The Built Environment Trust.
