Friday 26 April, 1.15pm - 1.45pm
Forest of Fabrication is an exhibition in collaboration between the Building Centre and Stirling Prize-winning practice dRMM, presenting engineered timber as a defining material of 21st Century architecture.
Join dRMM Director Alex de Rijke for the sixth in our series of guided tours. Conversation will revolve around water-based regeneration, focusing on the importance of addressing place, local heritage and community needs. Featured projects include the 2017 Stirling Prize-winning “platform of possibilities”, Hastings Pier, and Floatopolis, a floating development research project exhibited at the Venice Biennale British Pavilion in 2012.
Registration is free but spaces are limited. Please book to avoid disappointment.
The Forest of Fabrication exhibition and events programme is curated by the Building Centre exhibitions team and dRMM, and supported by The Built Environment Trust.
